In Southern Alberta, HVAC systems need proper maintenance to ensure they run efficiently through the changing seasons, especially with the variable temperatures. Now is the perfect time to book your Spring Maintenance.
What’s Included:
1. Replace or Clean Air Filters: We replace or clean your filters if required.
2. Check the Thermostat: Our certified technicians will test the thermostat by dialing in the optimal settings for your equipment and home.
3. Inspect the Outdoor Unit (Air Conditioner or Heat Pump): We will clear any debris around the condenser coils and ensure there is at least 2 feet of clearance around the unit while checking for visible damage or wear.
4. Clean and Inspect the Coils: We will inspect and clean the evaporator and condenser coils. A dirty condenser coil will affect the cooling ability of the system.
5. Check the Ductwork: Inspect your ducts for visible holes or cracks. If we notice issues, seal them with a special duct sealant and may recommend a duct cleaning.
6. Lubricate Moving Parts: Parts like fans and motors need lubrication to prevent friction and wear, which can shorten their lifespan. We will check the blower, fan, and motor, and add lubricant as needed.
7. Inspect the Drain Line: A clogged condensate drain line can cause water damage and decrease efficiency. Our technician will check the line is clear by flushing to break down any mold or algae buildup.
8. Check Refrigerant Levels: Low refrigerant levels can affect the cooling performance of your system. If your air conditioner isn’t cooling properly, it could indicate low refrigerant. Our technician will inspect and recharge the refrigerant levels.
